Geo-blocking

Geo-blocking for Windows Server – with local data

Your users work from a few countries? Then RDP does not need to be open to the whole world. ServerBouncer blocks per service and port by country, ASN or network type – without online lookups.

Geo rules per service with imported data sets

Countries

Country rules from RIR delegation statistics or MMDB files (e.g. DB-IP Lite, GeoLite2), with source attribution.

ASN and cloud

ASN from MMDB, cloud ranges of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Oracle from their published lists.

Tor, VPN, hosting

Tor exit lists and your own VPN or hosting lists as network type – for rules and for incidents on suspicious logons.

Local and traceable

You import the files yourself; ServerBouncer downloads nothing and queries no internet services. Country and ASN are shown in the block list, attempts and IP details. Geo rules complement detection – for RDP the hardening check still recommends access grants, because attackers can also come from allowed countries.
